The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Tuesday, 15th of July 2025, as a public holiday in honor of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The former president Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, passed away on the 13th of July 2025 in a clinic in London and has been transported back to Nigeria for proper burial arrangements in an Islamic manner.

Abass Sulaiman, popularly known as Tapadollar, a Lagos-based Arabic Tiktoker, was gifted a sum of 5 million and an additional 700 thousand naira for accommodation by Queen Rosheedah Al-manaarah.

This occurred during the exclusive premiere of an Arabic storybook called الملكة رشيدة أمل لشديدة which is literally translated as Queen Rosheedat: Hope for Hardship.

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the book was dedicated to Queen Rosheedat Almonarah in recognition of her humanitarian endeavours and tremendous support within the Islamic community.

This gesture was intended to support and empower him to continue using his creativity and knowledge to advance the Arabic language and serve as a good ambassador for the Islamic faith.
