President Muhammadu Buhari has grieved the passing of driving Islamic researcher, Sheik Ahmad Olayiwola Kamaldeen, who kicked the bucket on Friday 12th 2020 in Ilorin, Kwara State.
“President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday joined Muslims in the country over to grieve a main leading Islamic cleric and law specialist, Sheik Ahmad Olayiwola Kamaldeen, who passed on in Ilorin, Kwara State on Friday 12th 2020.
In an announcement gave by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, President Buhari sympathized with Muslims across Nigeria.
“He was until his demise, the Khalifah Al-Adaby of Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria.
“The President portrayed his downfall as ‘a misfortune to the Emir of Ilorin, the Ilorin Community, Kwara State, Nigeria and the whole Muslim Community.
“As per President Buhari, ‘he was a cutting edge Islamic law specialist and a built up technocrat who rose to the situation of Permanent Secretary in government and Khalifah in the administration of the Islamic confidence.
“The President petitioned Allah to excuse his inadequacies, acknowledge his arrival and rest his spirit in Jannatul Firdaus,” the announcement said.
